If you have an edge landing with several sides, measure and cut all the pieces of the molding. Use cuts 45 degrees in which two mold parts join at the ends. Drill pilot holes through the center of the neighborhood face all year with a drill 5/16-inch. Put a hole in each end and in the middle. Two holes space evenly between the center and the final holes. This helps to avoid splitting the molding fourth round when nailing wall against the staircase landing.

Place a flat rule in floating floor and against the wall of the landing stair molding. Place the quarter round against the wall of the stairwell landing, which rests on the rule. The rule acts as a temporary spacer between the floor and the fourth assault. Insert end snaps into the pilot holes in the neighborhood all year and lead to the landing of the staircase wall with a hammer.
